1. Who we are
Lacrema ("we") is operated by [legal entity to be confirmed], contactable at hello@lacrema.app. Lacrema helps independent food and beverage venues understand their menu economics and apply changes they approve.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and sign-in method (email or Google).
- Venue data you provide: menus, recipes, supplier lists, invoices, photos, spreadsheets, and answers you give in the product. You choose what to share; the product works with whatever you provide.
- Product activity: which findings you view, apply, or dismiss, and feedback you give. This is used to make Lacrema more relevant for your venue.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
3. How we use it
- To build and maintain the model of your venue that the product shows you.
- To send you the emails you have enabled (such as the weekly brief), each with one-click opt-out.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Your venue's private data is never shared with other customers and is never published. Public market information (such as publicly listed menu prices in your area) is collected separately, with its source and date recorded.
4. AI processing
Documents you upload (for example a menu photo or a supplier invoice) are read using AI services from Google and OpenAI acting as processors, under API terms that do not permit them to use your data to train their models. Extracted values keep a link to the original document, and you can correct or retract them in the product.
5. Who processes data for us
Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google and OpenAI (document reading and analysis, as above).
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and venue data at hello@lacrema.app and we will do so; documents shared during a pilot are deleted on first request.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA you can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict processing. Write to hello@lacrema.app. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Cookies
The website stores your cookie preferences on this device for up to 12 months. Analytics and marketing technologies are disabled unless you choose to allow them; neither category is currently active on this landing page. The app uses strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and secure your account. See our Cookie Policy for the current list and use to change or withdraw your choice at any time.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here and, for significant changes, email account holders.
